Maintenance and Project Manager
Job Description:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for safe execution of the following functions:
- Maintaining equipment to ensure reliability, availability and continued operation;
- Works with site managers to evaluate equipment needs, communicate maintenance plans, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance within budget;
- Participate in major investments projects;
- Communicate and work with purchasing to identify short term and long term needs related to spare parts;
- Establish and maintain a strong working relationship with department employees;
- Manage company contractors including: ground maintenance, plumbing, electrical, etc.
- Will consult to solve problems related to the production and propose solutions
- Will be responsible for maximizing productivity while meeting our quality and safety standards.
Job
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent experience;
- Must be fluent in English
- Knowledge of equipment, parts and replacement products as well as the new technology;
- Strong leadership skills
- CAD & ConformIT knowledge a must
- Master and apply laws and company policies related to occupational health and safety, employment standards, lock-outs, etc.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
